Risby Village Hall Facilities
The hall itself consists of one smaller and one larger hall and the gift horse meeting room which is ideal for meetings. All the halls are available to hire separately or together as a package. There are two kitchens, one in the gift horse room, and, a full size, fully equipped kitchen with cooking and dining facilities and a glass washer.
Large Hall
The Large Hall has been refurbished, with attractive cladding on the outside, internally insulated with new lighting and electric heating. The large hall can seat up to 250 people, or 350 people dancing, making it a perfect venue for large events such as live events, parties and weddings, or, social and family events.
Small Hall
The Small Hall is perfect for gatherings up to 50 people. The hall provides an excellent space for training, children's parties and large meetings. The hall can be booked to include the adjacent small kitchen with breakout meeting room. Via the double doors, there is a fenced outdoor area. Refurbishment is pending and will include new flooring, window shutters, enhanced electrics and air con.
Meeting Room
The Gift Horse Meeting Room is an ideal venue for small meetings for groups and businesses. It includes its own small domestic kitchen with kettle, hob, oven and a fridge. The meeting room is currently being redecorated and is equipped with new office tables and leather chairs.
Multi-use games area (MUGA)
The multi-use games area is available and can be hired for a range of sports including tennis, netball, basketball and five-a-side football. The MUGA is fully fenced off and benefits from floodlighting.
Adult Gym Equipment
The free-to-use outdoor adult gym equipment was is available to anyone over 1.4m tall to use/exercise. This equipment will soon be relocated (remaining on site) to make way for our new children's play area.
Recreation Ground Equipment
The Recreation Ground facilities are extensive and provide opportunities for adults and children to exercise, including adult gym equipment, children's play equipment, a floodlit, multi-use games area (MUGA), a cricket pitch, a football pitch and the pétanque court.
