Do you have booking terms and conditions which need to be followed?
Yes. Our terms and conditions are available and can be downloaded from our website menu.
Is a deposit required on collection of the hall key and how do we pay the balance?
For private one off bookings a non refundable booking deposit is generally required. This will be invoiced and must be paid prior to the booking being confirmed. A damage deposit may also be required. Invoice balances are normally required a minimum of 14 days prior to your event. Payment details and deadlines are provided in your invoice.
Can I sign up for activities hosted at your venue?
Yes. If the host of the event isn't visible, contact our Hall Manager who will put you in touch with the organiser
What is the capacity of the halls?
Large hall: seated 250 (theatre style), dancing 350 people
Small hall: seated 50, dancing 75 people.
What are the hall measurements?
Large hall: 27.4m x 13.5m or 366sqm or 4300sqft, ceiling height 4.7m height side wall to fabric hanging wires is 3.5m
Small hall: 11m x 6m or 66sqm, ceiling height 3.2m
How many chairs are there at the Hall?
Approximately 300 chairs are available
How many large and small tables are there?
There are 40 large table and 15 small tables. There are also 4 large trestle tables.
What size are the large and small tables?
Large tables: 182cm x 76cm, seat 8 people
Small tables: 122cm x 76cm, seat 6 people
Are the use of the tables and chairs include in the hire of the hall?
Yes. Please specify the need for tables & chairs and setting up at the time of booking.
Is there crockery, glasses and a separate fridge/freezer at the hall?
Both Kitchens have fridges and ample crockery, glasses and cooking utensils. Please ensure these are fully cleaned, dried and put away at the end of your hire period.
Do we have to clean the hall after use?
It is a requirement that the hall and kitchen (if used) are cleaned and left in the same condition prior to exiting. Tables and chairs will need to be wiped and the kitchen area properly cleaned, dried and put back.
Where is the key collected from?
Collection is arranged with the Hall Manager a few days before your booking date.
Do you have heating in the halls?
Yes all halls have heating
Are your facilities accessible?
Yes. Our car park has disabled parking close to the main door. Our entranceway and access to the main and small halls both accommodate wheelchair access. We have a fully accessible toilet in the entranceway.
Are animals allowed in the building?
Generally No. However, we do host some events like dog training and dog shows where animals are allowed inside. These bookings require thorough cleaning to be carried out afterwards, this is charged in the booking fee. Animals ARE NOT allowed in our kitchen areas at any time.
